I’ve been really fortunate to have worked mostly with Creative Directors in "The Genius" camp. But, I couldn’t resist poking a little fun at some of the other archetypes.

They’re all good, but the one on Creative Critics is genius. I think I’ve been all of them at some time. Poor designers.

A subspecies of the art nazi, even though I don’t like trivializing nazis, is the exclamation point fuehrer. This genus (sometimes also genius) categorically refuses to use exclamations, even the once every millenium you request one.
One never wants to resort to rank, but someone has to make the call and prevail. Ah, compromise, where everyone walks away a little unhappy.
