Sparking discussion of How Google Works, a new book by Eric Schmidt and Jonathan Rosenberg
How Google Works is a New York Times Bestseller containing lessons that Google Executive Chairman and ex-CEO Eric Schmidt and former SVP of Products Jonathan Rosenberg learned as they helped build the company. We created a series of marketoons that unpacked different lessons and takeaways from the book.
The marketoons were a cornerstone of the social media and PR launch strategy of How Google Works. Eric Schmidt and Jonathan Rosenberg used the cartoons to spark conversations in Google + and other social channels. The cartoons were picked up by a variety of publications, including CNET and Business Insider.
We also created a 15-second animation of one of the cartoons to use a YouTube pre-roll advertising to help promote the book.
