Bringing satire to the AI agent conversation for ServiceNow
The challenge
A viral “AI doomer” memo argued that AI agents could run enterprises on their own, with no governance and no guardrails. ServiceNow wanted to push back. Instead of a standard rebuttal, they answered with a satirical memo from the future. It follows Kevin, a governance manager with 4,731 escalations in his queue who is currently at a conference.

What we made
We illustrated The Global Intelligence Truth with a series of cartoons that follow the story from the agents’ “triumph” to the accountability spiral that followed. We also served as satire advisor, helping write the memo from the agents that became the report’s centerpiece.

Where it ran
The agents’ memo ran as a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal. The cartoons were featured throughout ServiceNow’s Knowledge event, including the CMO keynote. We also shared a cartoon with 53,500 senior business leaders across LinkedIn and the Marketoonist newsletter, with a 1.1% click-through rate to the report.
